Growth & mindset
Set a goal your business data can actually track
“Grow the business” isn't a goal. Here's how to turn a vague wish into something your numbers can measure.
A goal you can't measure is just a mood. The trick is to anchor it to a number your business already produces, so progress is visible without extra admin.
Start from a number you already have
Monthly revenue, average invoice value, days-to-payment, repeat clients. Pick one that genuinely reflects health, not vanity.
Make it specific and time-boxed
“Cut average days-to-payment from 38 to 25 by the end of the quarter” beats “get paid faster” because you'll know exactly whether you did it.
In IBIS
In IBIS, goals tie to your real figures and move as you work — so you see progress instead of guessing at it.
